Where can i get it?
Sorry I'm still working on it...
One thing we are pondering is should we have this as a seperate application, or integrate the feature into wififofum? I think it might be simpler to have them seperate since they have seperate uses. WiHappy for easily connecting, and Wifofufm for wardriving. I do realise though that alot of people use wififofum just to find an open network to connect to. What do you think about this?
If it doesn't bloat WFFF too badly, then adding the functions in would be nice.
Or, for those who want focused apps, maybe you can offer WiHappy as a smaller stand-alone, ala StreetHawk.
Well, i would like favourites feature. When it spots the network name on the list, it will connect to it. Whats the point in this when it will connect to networks automatically? well they may use wep/wpa keys, you might want to store notes about it, whatever. You may want to connect only to specific networks, say some of them dont actually have internet or are dodgy
Also, if this program could use few resources and place itself down in that little bar at the bottom of the today on WM5 for easy on/off to get on a network, that would be great. How about the options of
1. Off
2. Connect to all
3. Connect to favourites
Either way I will be happy. Dude you rock.
Do you know of a good site to educate myself on WiFi? Not that I will beable to read it with work and school..but I just want to look at it..
No, but really I want to learn more about Networking so any help would be appreciated...
Yeah and again dude you ROCK!
Hi there,
WiHappy sounds very good!!! This is the option i miss in WiFiFofum2!!
Displaying availabel WiFis is quite a good thing, but entering into them with the press auf an button, that would be a dream!!!!!
I hope, this function will be implemeted quite soon!!
Looking forward to this

separate app
both, what I mean is make a 'link' to start the app from within wfff, but keep the app seperate, its petty easy to find open hotspots these days even without wfff so make the app as user freindly/automatic as possible but keep the in depth functions accessable for power users
I would gladly like to be one of the testers of WiHappy!
I can't wait, this is what im looking for. Any news about when this might get released?
Sounds like a good application to me. I think it would work great as a standalone app if it retains some of the basic features of WiFiFoFum. It would also be good if it could (somehow) completely override WM2003's Zero Config tool as I have noticed the automatic scan and connect of the zero config quite often conflicts with several other third-party wireless applications. (It really boils my green vulcan blood sometimes...:))
Personally I'd like to see it integrated but I can see both sides. For me: find it & connect. Perhaps a plugin or a stand alone option?
Either way - it sound great!

WiHappy for easily connecting, and Wifofufm for wardriving.
