I decided to add a few new features to WiFiTunes
tonight. Mainly because I received a few encouraging
emails about it - thanks Kevin! It only took about an
hour and it has been improved so much. The library
caching is amazing and definitely makes it a lot more
usable. For example when my library is cached on the
PDA it loads up in 4 seconds instead of the usual
long wait of up to a minute.
Here are all the new features in version 0.5.1
Now you can download songs - MP3s can be saved on the device when they are played. This allows you to grab songs from shared libraries you might find.
Caches libraries on the device so loading time is reduced dramatically
Downloading buffer size increased to 50K - speeds up streaming
